Spanish La Liga club Sevilla have moved to add to their Nigerian contingent following links to Anthony Dennis, Göztepe midfielder who has previously been listed by the Super Eagles.
Sevilla already have Super Eagles stars Jerome Akor and Chidera Ejuke, who are both at the AFCON in Morocco.
Sevilla have contacted the Sport Republic company. They are expected to begin official negotiations during the winter break and are described as insistent on the transfer.
It is understood that a German club, RB Leipzig, made the initial approach for the 21-year-old player, who has also been linked to Galatasaray.
Göztepe could potentially sell the player for a high fee in the winter.
The club have reportedly set an initial asking price of 8 million Euro and intend to increase it.
Dennis, who joined Göztepe in July 2023, is under contract until June 30, 2027, and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €5.00m.
In the 2025/2026 Süper Lig season, he has scored three goals in 15 appearances.
