Nigerian-American Chioma Ubogagu scored a goal to help her club Dallas Trinity FC draw 1-1 with Lexington SC at Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas.
Dallas Trinity FC currently occupy fourth spot to remain in a Playoffs position.
The former Real Madrid forward Chioma Ubogagu powered home a free kick from just outside the penalty box in the 52nd minute to restore parity.
Ubogagu said the team will take the positives from the draw.
“We knew it was going to be a challenge. We knew we had to compete. A draw is a good result,” she said.
“We obviously wanted a win, but we’ll take the draw and keep it moving for the next half of the season.”
The 33-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur forward has represented USA at U18, U20 and U23 levels.
She has also represented England at full international level and has won three caps.
