Former Golden Eaglets midfielder Hamzat Ojediran is on his way to the Major League Soccer (MLS) in the USA from the French Ligue 1.
According to Foot Mercato, Lens and Colorado Rapids have reached an agreement for Ojediran.
The transfer fee is slightly less than 3 million euros, and the transfer should allow Lens to recover more than double their original investment.
They had paid 1.2 million euros to sign him from Hungarian club Debrecen in August 2024.
Hamzat Ojediran, 22, has not played any minutes for Lens this season under Pierre Sage.
Ojediran’s contract with the French club runs until 2028, and his current market value is €1.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
