Bartholomew Ogbeche is now just two goals away from setting a new all-time goals record in the Indian Soccer League (ISL) after he fired a hat-trick in his club’s big win.
The ISL all-time record is 48 goals and after his latest treble, ‘Bartho’ now has 47 goals.
The durable striker continued to prove that even at the ripe old age of 37 he can score goals after he netted thrice in Hyderabad 4-0 win at East Bengal in an ISL game.

The former PSG forward opened the scoring in the 21st minute to give his side a 1-0 lead.
He made it 2-0 in the 44th minute, before he scored the last goal of the game in the 74th minute.
The veteran and widely travelled striker as now scored 11 goals in 11 games.
He scored eight goals last season for Mumbai City.
Ogbeche has played for Kerala Blasters, Northeast United (both in India), Willem II, Cambuur (both in Holland), Xerez, Alaves, Cardiz, Real Valladolid (all in Spain), Al Jazira (UAE), Middlesbrough (England), Metz, PSG, Bastia (all in France) and Kavala (Greece).
He was part of the Nigeria squad to Japan/Korea 2002 World Cup.
