Newly elected NFF President Ibrahim Gusau will be in India to cheer the Flamingoes to a reach a historic U17 Women’s World Cup Final.
Gusau told the Flamingoes he will arrive India Tuesday, a day before they clash with Colombia in the semifinal of the U17 World Cup.
“Congratulations,” Gusau told the team via a video call.
“Thank you very much for this hard-earned win, it was not easy.
“Nigerians are very happy with you.
“I will be with you Tuesday by the grace of God.”
Wednesday’s semifinal against Colombia will kick off by 12 noon in Goa.
The winners of this clash will take on the winners of the second semifinal between Germany and Spain.
The final and third-place will be staged on Sunday, October 30 in Navi Mumbai.
