Little known Nigerian striker Gift Emmanuel Orban is not only the leading scorer in the Norwegian second division, but his goals have now taken his club Stabaek a final game away from a prompt return to the top league.
Orban scored the all-important equaliser for Stabaek in the 72nd minute to salvage a 2-2 draw at Sandnes Ulf after they were losing 2-0 by half time.
The 20-year-old striker, who was scouted at a tournament in Uyo last November, has scored all his 16 goals in the last four months.
Stabaek occupy the other automatic promotion spot with 52 points and play their final game of the regular season on Saturday at home against Mjondalen.
Closest rivals KFUM are three points behind and will need Stabaek lose and they achieve a scandalous win in their final game to upstage Stabaek from a prompt return to the Norwegian top league after they were relegated last season.
