Keciorengucu midfielder Anthony Uzodimma is delighted to score for his new club after just two games and he has said the goal is for his wife, who celebrated her birthday this past week, as he hopes to score more goals.
“First, I really thank God almighty for the grace. It was great feeling scoring my first goal for the team and helping my team to get all three points away from home is amazing,” he told ScoreNigeria.com.ng
“I dedicate my goal to my love, my wife Ebube Michelle Amadi, she celebrated her birthday few days ago and it was my birthday gift to her.”
He also said the goal will boost his confidence as wishes for more.
“Yes it is important to score for a new team, the goal will help me get more comfortable and give me the confidence to do more,” he reasoned.
He is on loan at Keciorengucu till the end of the season from Kayserispor.
