French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice have dropped Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi from their first-team squad and now hope he soon gets a new club.
L’Equipe repored that Moffi will now train with the team’s elite group, while waiting a change in his transfer situation.
After the unacceptable fans attack of last season, which forced him to play on loan at Portuhuese giants FC Porto, the 27-year-old striker has been on his way out of the French club.
Nice President Maurice Cohen has since said that Moffi is on the list of desired departures and that the club will make every effort to transfer him.
The new sporting director, Roger Ricort, said that Moffi knows he will probably not play for OGC Nice again.
Ricort added that the club will try to be correct with him and his agents so that if he has to leave, he will be in good physical condition.
The player has been linked with Turkish giants Besiktas among other overseas clubs.
