Former Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom is most certainly a player reborn after he equaled the English Championship record of scoring in eight straight home games.
Akpom scored the fifth goal for Middlesbrough in a 5-1 spanking of Norwich City Friday night to achieve this record.
Jarrod Bowen first achieved this milestone in 2019.
Akpom has now netted 27 goals in the Championship this season and his club climbed to third in the standings to boost their promotion hopes.
He has been nominated for the Championship Player of the season, which will be announced on Sunday, April 23 at the EFL Awards.
