Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has said he is mulling picking some new players for the crunch 2026 World Cup Playoffs later this month in Morocco.
Nigeria need to win the Playoffs to keep alive their dreams to feature at next year’s Mundial.
According to Top Transfer Expert Rudy Galetti, the Super Eagles are closely monitoring the progress of Slavia Praha midfielder David Moses with a view to selecting him for the Playoffs.
Officials from the Nigerian federation have been following Moses’ recent performances, including his strong display for Slavia Prague against Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League,” Galetti reported.
“His quality in midfield and ability to control the tempo impressed scouts and national-team staff.
“Head coach Eric Chelle is now seriously considering calling the 21-year-old midfielder for the upcoming matches.
“Even if Moses does not make the squad this time, a call-up for the Africa Cup of Nations preparations in December is seen as very likely.
“Moses has been on the radar of the Super Eagles for months, and his rapid development in Europe is making him difficult to ignore.”
