Following the directives of Sports Minister John Enoh for the NFF to re-organise their technical committee, all eyes are now on president Ibrahim Gusau on whether he will remove close friend Sharif Inuwa Rabiu Ahlan as chairman.
Most observers had questioned the appointment of Ahlan to head this very sensitive committee because he does not have the requisite qualifications besides other obvious shortcomings.
Minister Enoh has described as “unacceptable” the lack of technical acumen that has plunged Nigeria football into a dark place as qualification to the 2026 World Cup hangs by a thread.
In a week, the Minister will know whether Gusau will serve his personal interest or that of Nigeria.

That man, never, he will serve his personal interest definitely somebody who told us there was personal issues with Amunike, that’s why he won’t have the job, I vividly remembered the last coach paseiro, had serious personality problems with Ademola lukmon, but, knowing the interest of trust Nigerians bestowed on him was more than his personal interest,he kept bringing Ademola around, last last, what was the result, second best in Africa, shame on this man
