The Normlisation Committee to be appointed by FIFA and CAF to re-organise and reposition Nigerian football will do a great job, according to a top source privy to the process.
NFF announced on October 22, 2026, that FIFA have approved a Normalisation Committee for Nigerian football in the wake of the resignation of the NFF executive committee and it is now left for this committee to be made public.
A top source has now given SCORENigeria a sneak preview about the composition of the committee, while assuring that members have been carefully choosen to give Nigerian football a new direction.
“What I can say for now is that by the time the Normalisation Committee is announced, most of us will have the confidence that they will do a great job,” the source informed SCORENigeria
“There will be at least five lawyers on the committee and women will be well represented.
“And from what I further gathered, they will go about this onerous task by compartments like technical, marketing, statutes and so on.”
SCORENigeria further gathered that the re-organisation of the NFF secretariat will be the responsibility of the newly elected NFF executive committee.
The tenure of the Normalisation Committee will terminate on May 31, 2027.
