Raphael Onyedika is on his way to Belgium for a routine medical with champions Club Brugge after Danish FC Midtjylland reportedly accepted a nine Million Euros transfer fee for the midfielder.
Onyedika, 21, was previously courted by Serie A champions FC AC Milan, but they failed to meet up the 10 Million Euros valuation of the player by Midtjylland.
Their last offer was 6.5 Million Euros.
The exciting defensive midfielder has preferred Club Brugge to Milan because he will enjoy more game time at the Belgian champions.
Onyedika will be a direct replacement of Belgium international Hans Vanaken, who wishes to take his chance in the Premier League with West Ham.
The former FC Ebedei star was named Young Player of the Year in Denmark for last season.
He will be expected to debut in the UEFA Champions League as Club Brugge are grouped alongside FC Porto, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Leverkusen.
