The Super Eagles have lost another top talent to Europe – Daniel Nnodim.
Austrian Wien defender Nnodim, 18, who is eligible to play for Nigeria, Germany or Austria, has now opted to play for Austria.
He was born in Vienna, Austria, but he could also play for Nigeria or Germany through his parents.
However, after talks with Austria U21 coach Peter Perchtold he has now been called by Austria.
It is understood that Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle spoke with the player and wanted him to feature in the recent friendly against Russia.
