Super Eagles need to kill off games by putting away the chances they create, according to coach Jose Peseiro.
The Super Eagles controlled the game against Saudi Arabia from start to finish, but they failed to convert the several chances they created.
“We did a good game, in the first half we could have scored three, four goals, so too in the second half,” Peseiro said.
“It was a good job against the last team to beat Argentina.
“We controlled the game with 4-4-2, it was a good performance.
“I am happy with the game, but not happy with the result because it was a draw.
“We only need to have a killer instinct, we need to finish the job in front of goal.
“They (Saudi Arabia) kept fighting because at a time it was 1-0 (against Nigeria).”
Peseiro said he hopes the team win their AFCON first round group that has hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea Bissau on their way to winning the tournament next year.
