Striker Paul Onuachu is still struggling with a knee injury and so he is doubtful for Genk all-important clash against KV Mechelen.
Onuachu failed to complete training Tuesday as he is still carrying a knee problem on his left leg.
The giant striker is Genk leading scorer in the league with nine goals.
Compatriot Stephen Odey is the only other striker on the Genk squad, but he has yet to score in the league.
Champions Genk have to win this home game on Sunday for them to move into the championship playoffs, which will also determine the teams for the UEFA Champions League.
They are currently seventh on the table with 44 points, same with Mechelen, and only in the bracket for the Europa League playoffs.
