Paul Omo Mukairu has tested negative for Coronavirus after an initial test said the striker and almost the entire Antalyaspor squad had tested positive.
This was after reports broke Friday afternoon that local health authorities had refused the team permission to fly out to Istanbul after most of the squad appeared to test positive for Covid-19.
SCORENigeria can now report that Mukairu and his team have now arrived Istanbul for a Super Lig clash against Besiktas later today after another round of tests cleared them.
Besiktas beat Antalyaspor 3-0 in a pre-season friendly last month.
Antalyaspor won their opening game of the season, 2-0 at home against Genclerbirligi.
Mukairu, 20, was an unused sub for that game.
