Italian club Parma have announced they have signed striker Simeon Nwankwo on loan from Salernitana till the end of the season.
Parma also have the option to buy the striker permanently by the end of the season.
Last season, the 29-year-old ‘Simy’ netted 20 goals but that did not save Crotone from relegation from the Italian top league.
This season, the striker’s transfer to Salernitana has not worked out as the club are rock-bottom of Serie A and ‘Simy’ himself has only managed a goal in 19 Serie A appearances thus far.
Parma, on the other hand, are 12th on the Serie B table halfway through the season.
