According to the publication’s investigations, the misunderstanding was caused between several contacts of the leasing company and the player’s former agent.
It was further gathered that the company contacted the former agent, who implied that Osimhen was no longer interested in the car and so the move to recover it.
Osimhen, on his on part, was convinced he has paid all the dues on the vehicle.
Interestingly, Osimhen is a Mercedes ambassador in Turkey.
It was also learnt that the Mercedes-Benz parent company has since apologised for the stress to the player’s present agents.
