Footstool Estates, a fast-growing real estate company and owners of Montay, in conjunction with ABJ City Stars, has embarked on a commendable project to discover top quality football talents who will subsequently be transferred overseas.
The Abuja-based company disclosed that this latest initiative is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
“Football is the greatest unifier of over 200 million Nigerians, who are very passionate about our national sport,” said Footstool Estates Managing Director/CEO, Zichat Jehu Augustine.
“We now plan to make the most of this passion by partnering with major stakeholders in the Nigeria football ecosystem to ensure we discover quality talents that abound across Nigeria.
“This we plan to do through regular scouting tournaments and other novel football projects to the benefit of our immediate communities.
“As a company, we are known for premium quality always and that is also what we will aim for as we venture into football development in Nigeria.”
In this regard, Footstool Estates will headline a scouting tournament involving over 30 clubs from across Nigeria to be attended by as many as 10 top foreign clubs, scouts and agents, whose connections include France, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Russia.
The tournament will be staged at the Area 3 Sports Ground in Abuja between November 21 and 25.
