Turkish giants Fenerbache have submitted a new and improved offer for Ademola Lookman after their first bid was rejected by Atalanta.
Fenerbache are reportedly in the final stages of negotiations with the agent of Ademola Lookman.
Sport Mediaset reported that an agreement has been reached for a 4.5-year contract with an annual salary of 9 million Euros.
This is thrice what the player receives at his Serie A club.
Fenerbahçe’s negotiations with Atalanta are ongoing.
Atalanta rejected a loan offer with a mandatory purchase option and also rejected an offer of 35 million Euros.
The Turkish giants have now made a new offer of 40 million Euros and are awaiting a response from the Italian club.
If the clubs agree on the figure, Fenerbahçe will then attempt to persuade Atalanta to forego their preference to complete the sale after January 28.
