FC Hearts of Kano are the new champions of the FC Bayern Youth Cup Nigeria after they stopped Kidsport Academy of Lagos in the final in Awka.
The hugely talented Kano boys topped their qualifying group before they went all the way to confirm their class with a hard-earned victory in the championship game.
Both finalists of this U17 competition played out an entertaining 1-1 draw in the final before the Kano team triumphed 10-9 on penalties.
Several players from FC Hearts were also picked to represent Nigeria in the Bayern Youth Cup to be played in Munich later this year.
