Iheanacho signs long-term contract in Portugal

Former Golden Eaglets striker Stanley Iheanacho has signed a long-term contract with Portuguese club CD Mafra.

Iheanacho, 19, has signed a five-year contract with the Portuguese second division club from Danish club FC Midtjylland, where he featured for the youth team.

“There’s a lot of potentials here. I am looking forward to the new season and developing alongside my teammates,” an excited Iheanacho said.

Iheanacho’s new club will kick off the new season on August 8 against Pacos Ferreira.
