Cristiano Ronaldo 2008 Ballon d’Or has been voted as Best of All-time.
The Ballon d’Or of all Time, or BOAT, will designate which individual player’s year has been the best in history.
Only players who have won the “real” Ballon d’Or at least twice were eligible to win the newly established award.
After voting closed, Cristiano Ronaldo’s year 2008 was declared the winner.
The Portuguese then played for Manchester United, who won both the Premier League and the Champions League. Ronaldo scored 35 goals and provided 12 assists in all competitions.
BOAT was voted for by fans and according to France Football, which organises the Ballon d’Or, many people cast their votes more than once.
Each vote cost a Euro.
