Despite a shabby preparation, the Flying Eagles are looking good to qualify for the U20 AFCON after they stopped hosts Niger 1-0 in a warm-up game today in Niamey.
Both teams had played out a scoreless draw in their first clash at the same venue Friday.
Gombe United forward Ibrahim Yahaya grabbed the winner for the Nigeria U20s in the seventh minute.

The Flying Eagles will open their qualifying campaign on May 8 against defending champions Ghana.
Burkina Faso are the other team in Group B.
