Various reports out of Serbia have suggested that Club Brugge are back in the chase for Sadiq Umar, whose club Partizan Belgrade are now prepared to lower their 10 million Euros asking price after they crashed out of the UEFA Europa League.
The Belgian champions have not done any major transfer in this window amid speculations of the departure of Emmanuel Dennis to a bigger league.
Srbija Danas reported Club Brugge are in the forefront Sadiq, who has already netted five goals and provided two assists in eight league games this season.
The ex-player of AS Roma and NAC Breda has been linked to a transfer all summer long.
For example, he was at a time offered to KAA Gent, who considered him too expensive.
Last Thursday, Partizan were eliminated from the Europa League by Charleroi, which means they will lose some cash as a result.
They could therefore now drop their asking of about 10 million Euros to about 7.5 million.
According to local sources, Club Brugge would also be willing to meet such an amount.
However, it is unclear whether they have made a formal offer.
