Golden Eaglets winger Victor Udoh will get his chance in the first team of Belgian champions Antwerp, according to coach Mark van Bommel.
Direct-playing winger Udoh, 18, has signed from HB Academy Abuja in March.
He featured at the 2021 U17 AFCON qualifiers in Togo.
Bommel told Het Nieuwsblad the youngster will get his chance in the Antwerp first team.
He has been handed jersey No 60 and was widely expected to feature for the Antwerp second team.
Udoh played the second half of the team’s first pre-season friendly against Lierse, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
The other Nigerians at the Belgian league and cup winners are midfielder Alhassan Yusuf and George Ilenikhena, who joined from French club Amiens SC.
