Bayelsa Queens will feature in this year’s CAF Women’s Champions League in Morocco after they brushed past Ampem Darkoa Ladies of Ghana 3-0 today in a WAFU B final playoff.
All the goals were scored in the first half with Miracle Joseph putting the Nigerian ladies in front from the penalty spot in the 11th minute.
They doubled their lead in the 19th minute, when exciting U20 international striker Flourish Sebastine hit target.
Chinyere Igboamalu made it 3-0 three minutes to the break.
Last year, Rivers Angels featured in the maiden CAF Champions League, which was won by Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies.
