Azeez Balogun lifts Sao Paulo to third round of Paulista U20

After a short injury layoff, Azeez Balogun has returned to top reckoning by scoring a goal and providing an assist for Sao Paulo to reach the third stage of the Paulista U20 in Brazil.

Balogun, 18, from Unique Futbol Academy Ibadan, delivered a powerful headed goal from a corner to put Sao Paulo 2-1 ahead against Internacional Bebedouro SP.

It was his second goal in three games.

The striker will go on to deliver an assist with a third goal in the dying minutes of the encounter.
