The Super Eagles forward caem off the bench to score Atletico Madrid second goal in a 2-0 home win against Manchester United. Probably this is the spark that Lookman needs to be back at his best for the Spanish club after some below-par displays. He enjoys the backing of coach Diego Simeone and certainly has the talent to be back on top of his game again.

He ended a run that saw Fulham go six games without a win in the Premier League with his first-half strike, which also proved to be the match winner. This result is a stay on executive for manager Alvaro Arbeloa. Iwobi said he hopes this first win against Hull City to kick on the season for his London club. Fulham are now outside the drop zone in 17th position and next take on Coventry City, who are 16th on the table.

Akor has been heavily criticised from leaving a more established club like Sevilla for the uncertainties presented by new club Venezia in the Italian Serie A. Promoted Venezia will need a lot more goals from Akor and wins were they to stay up in the Italian top flight this season.
