Alex Iwobi has said he believes that the first win by Fulham in the Premier League will now kick on their season.
Iwobi was the match winner for the London club to stop Hull City 1-0 and end a run of six games without victory this season.
“The win was a long time coming. We have performed well even though the results spoke otherwise,” the Super Eagles star said.
‘The manager has asked us to keep going and hopefully the luck will go our way and it has now started, we just have to kick on and we just have to use this momentum for the rest of the season.
“It was a convincing performance even though the criticism even for me is that we could have scored more goals.
“As long as we’re creating the opportunities, we will score more goals.
“Also, if we’re able to keep clean sheets like vs Hull City, it will give us a chance to win games.”
Iwobi said the Hull City goalkeeper could have done much better to stop his goal, “but as long as they keep going in, I will celebrate them”.
