Tella on target in Leverkusen big cup win

Super Eagles winger Nathan Tella was again the Super Sub as he came off the bench to score in a 4-0 German Cup win by Bayer Leverkusen.

Tella scored his team’s third goal with a left-footed shot against Liga 3 club SV Wehen Wiesbaden.

Leverkusen will now hope to extend their winning run in the Bundesliga when they travel to promoted SV Elversberg on Saturday, August 29.

They play their first home game in the German top league on September 5 against Union Berlin.
