USL side Atletico Dallas FC have signed Mexican legend Javier “Chicharito” Hernández.
Mexico’s all-time leading goal scorer, a World Cup veteran, and one of the most recognised forwards the game has produced.
The 38-year-old forward had played for Manchester United, Real Madrid, and El Tri.
“I’ve been fortunate to live the dreams that every young footballer hopes to experience… I’ve worn some of the biggest shirts in the world and played in incredible stadiums in front of passionate supporters.Opportunities like this, though, are different.” Javier Hernandez said.
He has signed a two-year deal with option of the third.
