Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad will now rival German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt for Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika.
Al Ittihad have reportedly submitted an official bid to Club Brugge for Onyedika, 25.
The Saudi club join Eintracht Frankfurt, who are said to be trying to complete a deal.
Club Brugge are understood to be open to a sale, as Onyedika is in his final contract year and the club had reportedly promised to cooperate with a transfer.
According to Top Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano, Brugge value the player at around €10 million due to his contract status.
It remains unclear whether Al-Ittihad’s bid surpasses Frankfurt’s offer or what financial proposal has been offered to the player.
Onyedika, who has 26 caps for Nigeria, joined Club Brugge in August 2022 for a reported €10 million.
His current Transfermarkt market value is €23.00m. Earlier in 2026, valuations were higher, and a bid from Wolfsburg in February, which was reportedly over €20 million, was rejected
