Will Femi Azeez, who shone for the Super Eagles at the Unity Cup in May, be the new teammate of fellow Nigerian star Semi Ajayi at newly promoted Hull City?
Premier League new boys Hull City are now considered the most likely of the three promoted sides to pursue winger Femi Azeez.
This follows Ipswich Town’s previous interest, which appears to have concluded after they signed attacker Abdul Fatawu.
It is reported that Millwall will not accept an offer below £15m for the 25-year-old.
The South London club have Azeez under contract for another two years and do not feel pressured to sell, although they might still approve his departure.
A sale could be required to raise funds for their own summer spending and to comply with new Championship financial regulations.
Azeez is regarded as the most in-demand player who could be sold to strengthen other areas of the team.
He has two caps for Nigeria and has scored as many goals.
In 103 Championship appearances, he has scored 15 goals and provided 15 assists.
Other clubs, including AFC Bournemouth and Brighton & Hove Albion, have also been linked with the player.
Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €15.00m.
