Will USA President Donald Trump present the World Cup trophy Sunday night to Spain in the event they beat Argentina in the final after he described the country as “hopeless, bad people”?
The President of the United States is unhappy with the policy in Spain – President Pedro Sánchez refuses to increase the military budget and also does not allow the United States to use military bases to carry out attacks on Iran.
In a conversation with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Trump said the following about NATO member Spain. “I have not spoken with Spain. Spain is a lost cause. We no longer want to do business with Spain,” said the US President.
“By the way, I would like you to cut it short. Spain is a terrible partner in NATO. They don’t participate, they don’t pay. I want nothing to do with Spain,” Trump indicated last week.
“I don’t want to do business with them anymore. Right, execute it immediately. Don’t even talk to them. They are hopeless, bad people. Because you know, they make everyone else pay and work, and Spain in particular… Spain, there are a few others, but Spain in particular,” Trump shared.
“They are open about it, they are hostile about it. And let’s see how hostile they remain when they call and say: ‘Please, please, we want to do business with you, sir. We want to do business with you, sir.’ They are making so much money off us, and we are going to make sure they earn a lot less. I don’t want to do business with them.”
