SCORENigeria rates the individual performances of the Super Eagles in their 2-0 victory over Zimbabwe in the Unity Cup clash at The Valley in South London.
7 – Arthur Okonkwo
Assured performance and a clean sheet on his debut for the Super Eagles even though he was hardly tested by the attack of the Warriors of Zimbabwe. Certainly a young and interesting addition to the Super Eagles goalkeeping department.
7.5 – Chibueze Oputa
The fans saw why coach Eric Chelle said he is proud of the Enugu Rangers right back during training. No nerves on his debut, instead a confident performance whether in defence or when he surged forward. A food NPFL representation on the evidence of this outing.
7.5 – Kenneth Igboke
The former Flying Eagles star is back in the national team set up after he was first scouted by coach Finidi George. He has grown in confidence and maturity. He impressed on his senior debut.

7.5 – Igho Ogbu
He simply got the job done. Effective in keeping out the Warriors for the entire game. He has enhanced his place in this team.
7.5 – Chibuike Nwaiwu
His combination in the heart of the back four with Ogbu was solid. He did not look like a player making only his third appearance for the Super Eagles, little wonder his Turkish club have put a price tag of 40 million euros on his head.
7 – Tochukwu Nnadi
Combative as usual and so the booking he received after 35 minutes. He won the duels and linked up to the attack with such ease for the Super Eagles to play their attractive passing game yet again.
7 – Alhassan Yusuf
He played a more attacking role and was only denied his first goal for the Super Eagles by the Zimbabwe goalkeeper after he was set up by Terem Moffi. As usual he worked his socks off on his return to the team.

7 – Samson Tijani
He completed the three-man midfield that got things going. He was not out of place despite his very long absence from the team. He is certainly worth given more opportunities at this level.
7.5 – Philip Otele
The Hamburg winger showed his tricky on the flanks particularly in the first half and got a few chances to get on the scoreboard in his second appearance for the Super Eagles.
9 – Femi Azeez
Man of the Match by a mile. The Millwall winger took his goals very well on a dream debut. He is in the Super Eagles to stay not just because of his goals but also on the back of his overall play.

7.5 – Terem Moffi
He provided the two assists for Azeez to may hay on the night, but as a striker he would have been a bit disappointed that he did not score as well. He worked hard for the team to celebrate his 27th birthday this week in style by leading the Super Eagles to a deserved victory.
6 – Tosin Oyedokun
Ikorodu City captain decent when he replaced Samson Tijani late on. Not much minutes to really rate him.
6 – Rafiu Durosinmi
The Pisa striker finally made his Super Eagles debut when he replaced Moffi after 66 minutes. He will need to do a lot more to be part of the fierce competition in the team’s attack.
5 – Owen Oseni
Booked on his Super Eagles debut and yet to justify his call-up.
Aderemi Adeoye
The young defensive midfielder from Ikorodu City replaced match hero Azeez on the dot of 90 minutes.
