Southampton will save some cash should Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo join fellow English Championship rivals Leicester City before Monday’s transfer deadline day.
The Daily Echo reported that Aribo, who is out of favour at Southampton, is now set to join Leicester City.
The move will see Southampton save money on Aribo’s salaries with the player in the final six months of his contract.
Aribo has made 111 appearances for ‘The Saints’ since joining in the summer of 2022 from Scottish giants Rangers.
However, he has been limited to seven substitute cameos this season.
