Wilfred Ndidi has offered to pay the Super Eagles their 2025 AFCON win-bonus should the Federal Government fail to do so.
The Super Eagles threatened to embark on a pay strike over unpaid bonuses at the AFCON in Morocco.
Ndidi said he has pleaded with the rest of the team to train today in Marrakesh ahead of Saturday’s AFCON quarterfinal.
“I don’t want this unpaid bonuses to affect our preparations. I told the players and coaching staff that I’d personally make the payments if they didn’t get it,” he told journalist Oluwashina Okeleji.
Besiktas midfielder Ndidi was confirmed this month as the Super Eagles captain after William Ekong retired from international football.
