SCORENigeria can report that the Super Eagles are yet to receive the bonus of $30,000-a-man for qualifying for the Round of 16 of the 2025 AFCON.
A source simply informed SCORENigeria: “The team have yet to receive any win bonus in Morocco.”
The NFF had proposed to pay the team $15,000-a-man when they reach the knockout rounds of the AFCON.
However, the players insisted on getting double that amount and the NFF eventually agreed to this.
In the meantime, the salaries of coach Eric Chelle for three months have finally been cleared.
He is on $55,000-a-month and he is half way through a two-year contract.
