The NPFL will have a player at this year’s AFCON in Morocco and he is not with the Super Eagles.
Remo Stars goalkeeper Serge Obassa will be the third-choice goalkeeper of the Cheetahs of Benin at Morocco 2025.
There is no player from the NPFL in the Super Eagles 28-man squad to the AFCON with goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali and Amas Obasogie being the only players who ply their trade in Africa.
Nwabali features for South African club Chippa United, while Obasogie is with Tanzanian club Singida Black Stars.
