The president of the Benin football federation (FBF) has called for the immediate resignation of former Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr.
This followed another heavy defeat suffered by Benin.
FBF boss Mathurin de Chacus has officially asked that Rohr quit after the Cheetahs fell 3-0 to Burkina Faso in a friendly.
This was after the team were also thrashed 4-0 by the Super Eagles on the final day of 2026 World Cup qualifiers last month.
Rohr, 72, qualified Benin to the 2025 AFCON and came close to leading them to a first-ever World Cup.
