Gift Monday is shining brightly in the highly-rated NWSL in the USA, but has continued to be overlooked by the Super Falcons with coach Justine Madugu insisting the forward will have to wait for another chance in his team as competition for places in attack is fierce.
However, a national team coach has told SCORENigeria that Gift Monday has been snubbed by the Super Falcons simply because of “very bad attitude”.
“Gift has a bad attitude and that is the main reason she has been left out of the Super Falcons,” the coach revealed.
“She’s a good player and she’s doing very well in the US currently, but the truth of the matter is that she has a very bad attitude and that could be seen from her social media postings.
“She has to change her ways before she’s recalled to the Super Falcons.”
