Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has said he will select some new players for next month’s 2026 World Cup Playoffs in Morocco.
“I will bring one or two players for November (World Cup Playoffs) and we will see after,” Eric Chelle revealed in a radio interview monitored by SCORENigeria
He has so far handed Benjamin Fredrick, Jerome Akor, Felix Agu, Olakunle Olusegun, Chrisantus Uche and Tolu Arokodare their Super Eagles debuts.
He also expressed his gratitude to the fans for pushing the Super Eagles to qualify for the Playoffs.
“It’s good that the fans are smiling again, we won last game (4-0 vs Benin) because they pushed the team to win,” he said.
“We have to do the same for the Playoffs.
“I will give my best for this team to go to the World Cup.”
Nigeria will battle Gabon on November 13 for the Playoffs final between either DR Congo or Cameroon.
