Paul Onuachu may have again been overlooked by the Super Eagles for upcoming crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers, but he is now the top scorer of the Turkish Super Lig.
Onuachu scored his sixth Super Lig goal against Kayserispor from the penalty spot in stoppage time to make it 4-0 for Trabzonspor.
He also assisted for the opening goal.
This big home win has lifted his Turkish team Trabzonspor to second place on the table with 17 points from eight matches, four points behind leaders Galatasaray.
Other scorers in Turkey are Anthony Dennis (Goztepe), Uchenna Ogandu (Alanyaspor) and Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray). They have each scored two goals.
