Former England World Cup star Gary Linekar has tendered a public apology to Victor Osimhen.
Linekar was previously critical of the Super Eagle striker, but after his heroics in the shock defeat of Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League with Galatasaray.
“I apologise to Victor Osimhen. If you remember, I hinted that he sometimes gets lost on the pitch,” the former England striker began.
“I believe the situation is completely different now. I shouldn’t have talked about these things, it’s my fault.
“He’s fast, tall, a good finisher and very effective in the air. He’s an absolutely fantastic player.”

Success is the end of all doubts and criticisms.
