SCORENigeria can report that Super Eagles goalkeeper Olorunleke Ojo rejected a chance to replace Stanley Nwabali at South African club Chippa United so as to move to Sudanese giants Al Merriekh.
Enyimba captain Ojo is set to complete a two-year contract with the Omdurman club as a free agent as his contract with the NPFL champions will soon run out.
The former Flying Eagles shot stopper was the prime target for South African PSL side Chippa United once it was established that Nwabali will move on the back of his heroics at the last AFCON.
Several Nigeria stars including Daniel Akpeyi, James Okwuosa, George Akpabio, Solomon Okpako, Ugonna Uzochukwu, Austin Kwem and Etiosa Ighodaro.
Hmm, Sudan ke? There is war, heavy war going on there,is he aware of that? Even though the Sudanese club pays very well,he should think safety first before committing his future to them.
