Thanks to a fine run at the 2023 AFCON, the Super Eagles have recorded their best FIFA Ranking in 11 years.
The Super Eagles are now 28th in the world and third in Africa.
This is their best ranking since May 2013, when they were also ranked 28th in the world about the time they won the AFCON in South Africa.
They have moved 14 places from last month, when they were rated 42nd best team in the world.
Morocco are still the best ranked team in Africa at 12th even though they were knocked out by South Africa by the AFCON Round of 16.
