Newly promoted Serie A club Venezia have announced the loan transfer of David Okereke from Club Brugge.
Venezia reported that they are pleased to announce the arrival of Okereke, 23.
He is on a season-long loan with option for Venezia to buy him outright.
Tyronne Ebuehi is the other Nigeria star on loan at the Venice-based club, who are back to the Italian top league after 19 years.
It’s a return to Italy for the forward, who started out at another Italian club, Spezia, before Club Brugge broke their transfer record to sign him in 2019 for eight Million Euros.
Last season, Okereke scored four goals in 30 league appearances as they retained the Belgian championship.
