Super Eagles stars past and present have joined in celebrating the sensational transfer of Lionel Messi to PSG.
Super Eagles winger Moses Simon, who hopes to cross paths with Messi in the French Ligue 1, said he hopes the Argentine star goes on to win the Champions League with PSG.
“He is a fantastic player who alone decides the fate of a match, like a dictator,” he told Ouest-France.
“It is an excellent thing for our championship that the best players in the world come to play in France.
“I wish him the best and I hope he will achieve the goals he has set for himself, including winning the Champions League.”
Former Barcelona star Emmanuel Amuneke said Messi will be remembered for what he achieved at the Catalan giants.
“He achieved what other legends attained at the club, like Maradona and others,” Amuneke praised.
“You have to thank Messi for everything he gave Barcelona.”
